WPEngine vs Automattic
- WordPress.org: WP Engine banned from WordPress.org, blocking them from pushing updates to their free WordPress plugins.
- WPGraphQL: The creator Jason Bahl has left WPEngine to join Automattic and the plugin becomes a canonical plugin.
- WPEngine: ACF free plugin updates are now available through WPEngine, a guide on how to update it is here.
- Automattic: 159 employees take the offer to leave Automattic.
