The Journey Began
Before the rise of WordPress, I was studying Flash and Actionscript, and that’s how I started my career as a freelancer.
It was an exciting time for web design—everything was new, and the possibilities felt endless. Unfortunately, the technical limitations of Flash led to its decline, forcing me to start over.
In 2008, I discovered WordPress and immediately fell in love with it. Even though there were other options at the time, like Joomla and Drupal, I had a strong feeling that WordPress would become the world’s most popular CMS. That intuition proved correct.
Today, WordPress is the cornerstone of my work, but my connection to it goes beyond profitability. I admire the CMS itself and the open-source philosophy behind it. Now, I feel it’s time to share my expertise and contribute more actively to its development.
The Need for “The X Company”

In 2021, I decided to launch my own business after leaving a fashion company where I had worked for seven years as a graphic and web designer. With an existing client base, the transition was smoother, but challenges were still abundant.
The biggest hurdle was finding skilled and trustworthy collaborators, a process that took years. Another challenge was clearly communicating our services to clients. We primarily work with freelancers and SMEs in Italy and the European Union, where skepticism and misinformation about our industry are still prevalent. This is surprising given how rapidly technology, including artificial intelligence, is transforming the business landscape.

The key to success is Perseverance.
Running a business demands determination and consistency. During tough times, neither passion nor talent alone will be enough to overcome obstacles.
More than ever, clients seek all-in-one solutions and personalized support. My experience has taught me that people value partners who genuinely stand by them and solve their problems quickly and effectively.
One last piece of advice: never stop learning. Curiosity is an endless resource, and there’s always something new to discover.

The X Company, on the other hand, is a different kind of project. Our goal is to expand internationally and offer new services. We’re not looking to reinvent the wheel but to provide powerful solutions and deliver an exceptional client experience.
I firmly believe WordPress will remain the dominant force in the market for years to come, as data confirms. However, we remain open to exploring other emerging solutions when the time comes.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, watching movies and TV series (I’m a cinephile!), and traveling whenever possible. I feel a strong connection to my home country, Italy, and the countries of Eastern Europe.

I’ve always lived a simple life, so it doesn’t take much to recharge after a long workday. A walk, a coffee, or a chat with friends is all I need.
