I am Ahammed Mirdas, and I am the Founder of PluginHive from Bangalore, India. From a young age, I was passionate about solving problems — whether it was through mathematics, chess, or helping out in my family’s business.
Later, during my college years, my passion found a new direction when I was introduced to computers, and technology quickly captured my heart.
Outside of work, I’m a foodie who loves exploring different cuisines, and few things make me happier than a long, relaxing drive with my wife.
The Journey Began
I began my career working with Microsoft platforms, helping enterprise customers solve complex problems. The structure and possibilities of these systems truly excited me.
Later, I discovered WordPress — an open-source platform that gave developers like me the freedom to build enterprise-level solutions that once seemed unimaginable.
Drawn by the flexibility, openness, and collaborative spirit of the open-source world, I dove deeper into building solutions around WordPress. It marked the start of an exciting new chapter in my journey.
The Need for “PluginHive”

PluginHive was born out of a strong desire to bridge gaps we saw in the WordPress ecosystem, especially for eCommerce businesses.
When we started, there were already many players offering plugins. But we believed we could create solutions that were more reliable, more merchant-friendly, and backed by genuine customer support.
Products like WooCommerce Bookings, Deposits, and Product Add-ons were conceptualized and mastered by PluginHive’s co-founder, Minal Kokane, who played a crucial role in shaping PluginHive’s product strategy.
A major turning point came when we moved into SaaS solutions — building scalable apps for Shopify and WooCommerce. Delivering world-class solutions directly to merchants and retaining them through subscription models has been an exciting and fulfilling journey.
