It’s 2024, and this year, WordCamp US 2024 will commence at Portland from 17th September till 20th September. Being the largest flagship event organised yearly, WordCamp provides lucrative business and collaboration opportunities to all its “die-hard” community members.
Which means three things for you. You get to meet amazing WP community members, learn about new technological advancement in the industry, and enjoy your visit in Portland, Oregon. The city flaunts some of the most mesmerising views of the mountain, lush forests and sweeping landscapes.
This year’s WordCamp US will go on for four days during the week, from Tuesday till Friday. Starting off with a contributor day and ending with a Q&A session with Matt Mullenweg, followed by WCUS Social at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
The event is also jam-packed with interesting speaker sessions and side events. Check out the links below to stay on top of what’s happening in Portland!

WordCamps are an amazing opportunity to meet others in the industry and learn from each other.

I love helping to organize camps and meetups, speaking at them, and I hope that the things I’m able to share help others in growing their businesses and their space on the web.

I love the WordPress community and which is why I try to attend the bigger WordCamps. Attending events helps me feel the vibe of our community. It’s refreshing to hear about their daily routine, notice any new challenges they may be facing and that we can help with.

I attend WordPress meetups and WordCamps; I find them beneficial for understanding the community.

I try to be as involved as possible with the WordPress community. I attend both WordCamp Europe and WordCamp US.

I’ve attended and run Meetups and WordCamps since 2010, around the same time I started getting more involved with the community. I have made hundreds of friends and met thousands of incredible WordPressers.

Attending WordCamps and WordPress meetups has been instrumental for me. These events have been the primary driver for the network I’ve built, empowering me to find the help I needed to run and grow my business.

WordCamps are great for learning and meeting new people. I attend WordCamps regularly and often opt to be a speaker as the opportunity arises.

One of my favourite places in the world is a good conference. Forget the location of the conference, it’s all about the people and networking.

I actively sponsor or participate in WordCamps and meetups worldwide, like WordCamp Europe and Europe. These events are networking opportunities and learning experiences that shape our strategies and products at WP Umbrella.

Read about how other business owners have started and run their businesses. Attend WordCamps and speak to other entrepreneurs.

Attending WordCamps and WordPress events benefits me as a SaaS business owner. First off, they give me a chance to network with fellow professionals, potential customers, and even competitors.

WordCamp and WordPress meetups really help us to meet different WordPressers and provide us the opportunities to listen to their stories and get unique inspirations from them.

We sponsor and attend numerous WordPress meetups and WordCamps. We are currently sponsoring over 30 WordPress meetups and we attended/sponsored about 20 individual WordCamps in 2019.

I really love the WordPress community and I love supporting it. From sponsoring WordCamps to InMotion Hosting employees attending virtual and local events; we love being involved.

I have attended, sponsored, and helped organize WordCamps. These events are a great way for a primarily virtual community to connect.

I have also attended WordCamps outside of Nepal. These events have provided me with valuable knowledge-sharing opportunities and allowed me to have intimate conversations with WordPress product founders.

For those interested in community involvement, I encourage embracing the calling and starting by organizing meetups and WordCamps.

I think WordCamps are definitely important for the community to get closer. WordCamps do feel more like a community event rather than a conference.

Doing business among friends and peers is exciting and fulfilling. I greatly appreciate and enjoy participating in meetups and WordCamps.

Attending WordCamps has become like a family reunion of sorts, and we’ve built lifelong friendships with incredible people.

I love the WordPress Community. I prefer instead to make it my regular habit to personally introduce myself and have a zoom video call with anyone who is an author or contributor or personality in the WordPress community.

We have attended many WordPress meetups and WordCamps all over the United States. It’s been extremely beneficial for us, from both growing our business to learning more about websites, meeting agencies, and becoming a part of this wonderful community.

It never ceases to amaze me how open and inclusive the WordPress community is. The people are great, supportive, and there seems to be a widespread mentality that we can all thrive by working together and helping each other.

Recently, BigScoots made the decision this year to make itself more present in the larger community and has begun to increase our involvement by sponsoring events and actively sharing our story.

I love attending WordCamps and meetups. I’ve been to maybe 90 WordCamps now. Well, let’s count them as Australia, Asia, Europe, and North America.

I’m fond of traveling, the United Arab Emirates and the United States are two of my favorites. In the United States, I look for inspiration to create something new in our business.
